Loose 18.16ct Boulder Opal 'Picture Stone'

This very cool boulder opal from Queensland has an ironstone backing and a striking purple/blue jelly opal top. The boulder opal measures 24x17.5x5.7mm and is 18.16ct in a freeform shape with a slightly concave profile. The stone is a picture stone and is reminiscent of ocean waves. A fantastic specimen piece, potential pendant or souvenir piece.
