Archived Design

Menuki is the decorative grip ornament for Japanese swords, this Menuki is made from Shakudo and features a dog and a horse, symbolising loyalty, protection, speed and strength. Made in the 1860s, we attached a handmade 9ct yellow gold stick pin so it could be represented as a brooch for modern day wear.
